HEAALTH, the Headquarters for Experimental Arts and Architectures Linked To Humans is a young architectural practice with a distinct focus on biophilic architecture. HEAALTH stands at the forefront of a discipline that intricately melds biology and architecture.

Heaalth is a versatile architectural practice speciliazing in working with engineered living matter (ELM) that can dictate an architecture, while its main target is to focus on increasing and maintaining biodiversity through construction methods. Heaalth is proposing to reintroduce vernacular building techniques developed through tacit knowledge using self organising living systems as structural elements and their growth processes in combination with anthropocene building techniques - machined design processes - to drive a design approach that is inspired by the phenomena of natural growth of biological materials.

This experimental practice is focused on developing construction methods which are placed at the intersection between botanical principles (plant physiology) and machined design techniques. This architecture is constructed, but maintained alive. These biological factors serve as crucial design parameters in our projects.
